Azerbaijan Institute of Construction and Architecture has attached great importance to the training of scientific personnel since its establishment. Thus, since 1985, the employees of the institute have been awarded the degrees of doctor of philosophy and science after studying at post-graduate schools of the leading scientific centers of the former USSR and Azerbaijan. At the same time, they received scientific degrees by completing dissertation work as independent dissertation students.
According to the "Rules for the establishment of doctoral studies and admission to doctoral studies" approved by the Resolution No. 129 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan Republic dated 01.07.2010, it was allowed to establish a doctoral studies at ASRICA. Since 2011, the admission of scientific personnel to doctoral studies has been started. This work was entrusted to the "Scientific-technical information and doctoral studies" department. During these years, 18 people were admitted to doctoral studies. Among them, 3 applicants successfully defended and were awarded the diploma of the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan:
1. Jamalov J.A. doctor of technical sciences
2. Eyyubov I.J. Ph.D. in technique
3. Asadov E.Z. Ph.D. in technique
At present, the number of dissertation students under the doctoral studies consists of 5 people.
