“New Theoretical Basics of Calculation of Reinforced Concrete Elements.” work published  in “Reinforced Concrete Structures-Innovations in Materials, Design and Analysis” book  released by IntechOpen international publishing house in London 2023. Written by d .of tech. sciences, prof. Seyfullayev Kh.G. head of the laboratory “Scientific and technical expertise of construction norms” of the “Azerbaijan Scientific Research  Institute for Construction and Architecture”.  This work reflects the final results of research work carried out in 2017-2020 in AzIMETI by order of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Analysis of the main calculation methods of concrete and reinforced concrete structures that have been available so far was given, and ways of improving the calculation provisions specified in the valid AzDTN 2.16-1 based on the nonlinear deformation model of classical mechanics accepted in the worlwide were considered in this scientific work.  Improvement based on the model of nonlinear deformation of the calculation of reinforced concrete elements for the limits of the first and second groups in AzDTN 2.16-1 in accordance with the new theoretical foundations made it possible to bring to the attention of specialists involved in design and research in the world. Currently, work is underway to develop a new edition of AzDTN 2.16-1 based on the nonlinear deformation model proposed in the book. You can  get the book at AzIMETI.
